Rescriptor is used for:

Treating HIV-1 infection. It must be used in combination with at least 2 other anti-HIV medicines.

Rescriptor is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). It works by inhibiting the growth of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

Indomethacin is contraindicated for the treatment of peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. NSAIDs can also cause an increased risk of serious gastrointestinal adverse events especially in the elderly, including bleeding, ulceration, and perforation of the stomach or intestines, which can be fatal .

Renova Emollient Cream is used for:

Reducing the appearance of fine wrinkles, certain dark and light spots, or roughness of facial skin. Renova Emollient Cream is used with a total skin care and sunlight avoidance program. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Renova Emollient Cream is a vitamin A derivative. How it works is not known. It is thought to work by removing layers of the outer cells, which smooths the skin's surface and reduces the appearance of spots.

Do NOT use Renova Emollient Cream if:

Uses For Retin-A

Tretinoin is used to treat acne. It works partly by keeping skin pores clear.

One of the tretinoin creams is used to treat fine wrinkles, dark spots, or rough skin on the face caused by damaging rays of the sun. It works by lightening the skin, replacing older skin with newer skin, and by slowing down the way the body removes skin cells that may have been harmed by the sun. Tretinoin works best when used within a skin care program that includes protecting the treated skin from the sun. However, it does not completely or permanently erase these skin problems or greatly improve more obvious changes in the skin, such as deep wrinkles caused by sun or the natural aging process.

Tretinoin may also be used to treat other skin diseases as determined by your doctor.

Tretinoin is available only with your doctor's prescription.

What is Rybix ODT (tramadol)?

Tramadol is a narcotic-like pain reliever.

Tramadol is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Tramadol extended-release is used to treat moderate to severe chronic pain when treatment is needed around the clock.

What is the most important information I should know about Rybix ODT (tramadol)?

You should not take tramadol if you are allergic to it, if you have ever been addicted to drugs or alcohol, or if you have ever attempted suicide. Do not take tramadol while you are intoxicated (drunk) or taking any of the following: alcohol or street drugs, narcotic pain medicine, sedatives or tranquilizers, or medicine for depression, anxiety, or mental illness.

Seizures (convulsions) have occurred in some people taking tramadol. Tramadol may be more likely to cause a seizure if you have a history of seizures or head injury, a metabolic disorder, or if you are taking certain medicines such as antidepressants, muscle relaxers, narcotic, or medicine for nausea and vomiting.

Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. A tramadol overdose can be fatal. Tramadol may be habit-forming and should be used only by the person it was prescribed for. Keep the medication in a secure place where others cannot get to it. Do not crush the tramadol tablet. This medicine is for oral (by mouth) use only. Powder from a crushed tablet should not be inhaled or diluted with liquid and injected into the body. Using this medicine by inhalation or injection can cause life-threatening side effects, overdose, or death.

Rosadan Cream Description

Rosadan™ (metronidazole) Topical Cream contains metronidazole, USP, at a concentration of 7.5 mg per gram (0.75%) in an emollient cream consisting of emulsifying wax, sorbitol solution, glycerin, isopropyl palmitate, benzyl alcohol, lactic acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH, and purified water. Metronidazole is a member of the imidazole class of anti-bacterial agents and is classified therapeutically as an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent. Nitroglycerin rectal ointment is used to relieve moderate to severe pain caused by chronic anal fissures. An anal fissure is a tear in the skin around the opening for bowel movements, also known as the anus or rectal area. Nitroglycerin belongs to the group of medicines called nitrates. It works to relax the muscles around the anus so there is less pressure in the area.

This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated geriatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of nitroglycerin in the elderly. However, elderly patients are more likely to have unwanted effects such as lightheadedness, dizziness, or fainting, which may require caution and an adjustment in the dose for patients receiving nitroglycerin.

What is Romazicon (flumazenil)?

Flumazenil reverses the effects of certain types of sedatives from the benzodiazepine (ben-zo-dye-AYZ-e-peen) group of drugs. This includes Valium, Xanax, Tranxene, Librium, ProSom, Dalmane, Ativan, Restoril, Halcion, and others.

Flumazenil is used to reverse the sedative effects of a benzodiazepine when used during surgery or other medical procedure. Flumazenil is also used to treat benzodiazepine overdose.

Take care to keep your blood sugar from getting too low, causing hypoglycemia. Symptoms of low blood sugar may include headache, nausea, hunger, confusion, drowsiness, weakness, dizziness, blurred vision, fast heartbeat, sweating, tremor, or trouble concentrating. Carry a piece of non-dietetic hard candy or glucose tablets with you in case you have low blood sugar. Also be sure your family and close friends know how to help you in an emergency.

Also watch for signs of blood sugar that is too high (hyperglycemia). These symptoms include increased thirst, loss of appetite, increased urination, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dry skin, and dry mouth. Check your blood sugar levels and ask your doctor how to adjust your insulin doses if needed.

Never share an injection pen or cartridge with another person. Sharing injection pens or cartridges can allow disease such as hepatitis or HIV to pass from one person to another.

DESCRIPTION:

Each ReNaf Fluoride Chewable Tablet is sugar free and erythrosine (FD&C Red Dye No.3) free. Each ReNaf Fluoride Chewable Tablets 1 mg contain 1 mg fluoride ion (F-) from 2.2 mg sodium fluoride (NaF). CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY:

INDICATIONS AND USAGE:

ReNaf Fluoride Chewable Tablets 1.0 mg, 0.5 mg, 0.25 mg are to be used as a dental caries preventive in children. Ingestion of fluoridated drinking water (1 ppm F-) during the period of tooth development results in a significant decrease in the incidence of dental caries. ReNaf Fluoride Chewable Tablets were developed to provide systemic fluoride for use as a once daily supplement in children from 6 months to age 3 years and older living in areas where the drinking water fluoride content does not exceed 0.6 ppm F-.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

ReNaf Fluoride Chewable Tablets 1.0 mg are contraindicated when the fluoride content of drinking water is 0.3 ppm F- or more and should not be administered to children under age 6 years.
